Thanksgiving is an American holiday to give thanks for all one has and to be grateful of their friends and family. It is most commonly spent with family and a traditional feast dinner. The traditional dinner usually consists of turkey, cranberries and pumpkin pie. The first Thanksgiving took place in 1601 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. It was a three day celebration with the pilgrim settlers from England and the Native Americans of the Wampanoag people. The feast celebrated the fall harvest season and teachings of the land given to the pilgrims it by the Native Americans. The Wampanoag people saved the pilgrim settlers from perishing in the cold winter months. So on this day be mindful and make lots of Thanksgiving coloring sheets for your loved ones.
